Mudfest – Just for Fun Fundraiser

Mudfest is a fundraiser and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Clay Pittsburgh.

Clay rhymes with play, and lots of folks think throwing a pot would be lots of fun. Find out for yourself at Fireborn Studios’ upcoming “Mudfest” where participants will have a chance to try their hand at throwing a pot. This is event is for first-timers and non-potters to get a feel for the wheel.

Mudfest is a fun opportunity of explore the throwing on a pottery wheel. Mudfest is not a “pottery lesson.”  Nor is it  a “throwdown” competition.

You will get 30 minutes and  5 pounds of clay. You will have 3 or 4 tries to make a cup or a bowl, or whatever you want. All your creations will be displayed until 5 o’clock and then all the clay will be recycled. No clay will be taken home or fired.
